Jump Rope Fire Beta

Jump rope. The camera counts.

Prop up your phone, hit record and jump. The app counts every jump by itself, shows score, streak and rhythm, and records your workout on video with it all on screen.

Coming soon on Google Play

Closed beta for Android. iPhone version under study.

Built for training away from the screen

Your phone sits two or three meters away. That is why the app talks to you with sound, not text.

Automatic counting

The camera recognizes your body and counts every jump. No sensor, no screen taps and no cable.

Video with scoreboard

Your workout is recorded vertically with counter, streak, points and rhythm drawn on the video, ready to post.

Audio guidance

Sound cues tell you when your full body is in frame, when your feet are cut off or you left the frame, and when the recording is saved.

Play to the rhythm

Combos, points and a perfect-rhythm signal make the workout feel more like a game than a tally.

Import your videos

Already recorded a workout? Load the video, the app counts the jumps and exports a copy with the scoreboard and sounds.

Private by default

Image analysis happens on your own phone. Your videos are not sent to any server.

How it works

Four steps, no sign-up.

  1. Prop up your phone two or three meters away, so your whole body shows, from feet to head.
  2. Wait for the framing sound. If your feet get cut off or you leave the frame, the app tells you.
  3. Jump. The counter starts on your first jump and climbs with you.
  4. Stop and save. The video with the scoreboard lands in your gallery, in the Movies/JumpFire folder.
What is coming: an account with workout history, a global ranking, challenges against friends and extra looks for the video scoreboard. All optional, and basic training keeps working without signing up.
